Simple process to get the VM up.

Boot to ‘linux rescue’ mode, chroot /mnt/sysimage, cp /etc/modprobe.conf to /etc/modprobe.conf.bkup, vi /etc/modprobe.conf
–> change the scsiadapterx to use ata_piix
–> change the alias eth0 to use pcnet32
save the file
service kudzu start
run mkinitrd for whatever kernel you are using in /boot/grub/grub.conf
ie. mkinitrd -v -f 2.6.14.centos.img 2.6.14.centos

Reboot and you should be able to boot normally

If you are trying to upgrade from 8TP to 8.0.3 make sure you power off the VMs, you will NOT be able to power them on until you downgrade the hardware to 8.0.0 level.

For some reason my extender won’t play videos.
